Hello - welcome Chris.
Do you have any favorites recipes for using the herbs that you grow? A friend has recently recommended The Herbfarm Cookbook which I've been meaning to check out. Have you look at that by any chance? |

hmmmm...well nothing like fresh mint to top off some nice braised lamb. I just moved into a new home and was delighted to find some chives growing outside my back door, chives are just great for the little extra touch, garnish or some added flavour to potatos. I would have to say that nothing tops some freshly picked cilantro or basil, both of which I intend on growing here. Cilantro is perfect tossed with some fresh fruits with a light meat such as salmon or swordfish. I love it also with some mango, apple, pineapple (anything really) come citrus and honey on top of a nice fat juicy poek chop ![]() |
