Introduce Yourself Thread
Hello to all of you!
I'm from the midwest and interested in organic container gardening. I've just discovered Perelandra and know they have information about soiless gardening (not sure how that is spelled, but I hope you get the idea!). I'm hoping I can get some tips here to get me started. I don't get around well so I'm looking for something easy because I just love plants and flowers. I'm looking forward to meeting you and getting to know other gardening lovers around the world! ~Suzi |

Hi!
I live in Georgia, and am a college student. So I have to move around a lot, and never live anywhere I can plant stuff outside. So I'm hoping here to get tips on growing plants indoors, or on a patio, especially in Georgia. I am also into organic foods, so I would like to learn about growing my own organic food, so that when I do have a real yard I will be able to get started! from, HG -Kel |

Hey!
I am living in Turkey (Istanbul) and i just graduated from university. Actually my family lives in Eskisehir ( city in turkey 4 hours travel from here). We have a garden about 1000 m2. My father is a teacher at Anadolu Univesity but he grows all kinds of stuff there. I think its very relaxing in there. I can't go much to visit my parents. But when i go i am very enjoying our garden. I am walking on feet and watering the plants. Its fun. |

Welcome welcome welcome! Glad you're all here, thanks for stopping by! Let me know if there's anything I can do to make your stay better. As for you HomeGrown, I'd love to hear how it goes with indoor organic gardening! That should be an adventure. Are you thinking of organic hydroponics? Or is that too much for a first growing season

introduction
Hi all, so here I am in sunny South Florida to enjoy my golden years (crock of shit). What do I find out when I get here, first it’s way to fucking hot plus I don’t know anyone so I’m up shit’s creek. My buddy up north took care of me and made sure I got decent shit. Now it’s over and I’m up against the wall it’s REG or nothing so I decided to do it myself. Notice my grow box it’s located in an air conditioned garage. The box is just big enough to hold an 8 10” Autopot smartvalve system. The box is 30 “ deep, 48” long and 72” high with a 5000 BTU A/C. I have a vented 600W MH/HPS lighting system and I’m using a 20 gallon Rubbermaid tub to hold the nutrients and a Prime water cooler. I’m using a 4 inch duct fan to expel the heat from the lights, I have a big bathroom exhaust fan mounted up top and Mylar on the walls. I have Perlite and Coco coir as a grow medium. Naturally I have a carbon filter. my last grow was 20 years ago (it worked to some extent). Check out the pics, please be. I have 4 Fem bubblegum about 2 weeks into flowering. http://www.rollitup.org/newbie-centr...d-do-able.html
