New from Minnesota
Hi everyone. I found this forum searching info about garden ponds. We recently bought a house and there was a small garden pond but is in need of some help. I plan to make it a little larger and would like to plant lots of flowers and plants around it. I am very new to gardening and would appreciate any and all info on what plants grow best here and how to fix up an already great piece of land. Thanks!

Welcome badelia - glad you joined us! Have you checked out the website for The Minnesota Water Garden Society? They have got lots of great info. on that site including plant profiles and articles on successful plant combinations. If you happen to live close enough to them they even have garden pond tours, which might be fun.
