Gnomes
You either hate them or you love them but I think they're actually quite cute in an insane kind of way - perhaps they give people company while working in the garden - i've never had the opportunity to have one myself - however I did get a pottery toadstool with a happy smiling face from one of my insane friends.

I love all kinds of statues for in the garden...they add color for when the plants aren't blooming and they do feel like company when I am out there digging around.

Strange.
I have thinking of Gnomes too. I only have one that I won at a Christmas Raffle. I was wanting him for the longest too ! But I have been thinking of them and their history and even thinking of buying a few I have seen at Local stores...HMMMMM, maybe another sign of spring? I think Gnomes are great for gardens to look after your plants. Even better when there are children playing in gardens and spot a gnome...They'll either be afraid or happy to see one. I am a big kid and I am ALWAYS happy to visit one. It reminds me of my Grandma's Garden, My Mom's Garden, My Aunts' Gardens, Nice ladies garden all over the world have a gnome in it..I swear ! Even gardens where their are no ladies, I know a few sweet gentlemen of the garden with gnomes in them too! A heart has room enough for a small, mysical, creature of the garden of imaginationland to hold its hand... I LOVE GNOMES !!!!!!! 3 CHEERS FOR ALL GNOMES ![]() |

I saw a funny clip on You tube recently about a Gnome spotted somewhere in a field in South America. It was a person in costume but it was very comical !!! I think I know what my Halloween costume is going to be this year..

I think the Gnome Be Gone is sad, very sad making.
For some reason it reminds me of all the people who can no longer afford food because we use so much gasoline in this country and wanted to cut out the Arabs and Iraqis and use corn as a basis for fuel instead. I think we are way WAY wrong headed, and we hurt too many people. So, of course we wouldn't mind hurting a gnome.
