Many beneficial weeds attract parasitic insects away from other crops, sometimes even poisoning those insects and thus ending their threat entirely. For example; several kinds of weed are devastated by Japanese beetles while normally attacked vegetables nearby go completely ignored.

You aren't a real forum member, at all.

Shame on you.

The first mention of the Dandelion as a medicine is in the works of the Arabian physicians of the tenth and eleventh centuries, who speak of it as a sort of wild Endive, under the name of Taraxcacon. In this country, we find allusion to it in the Welsh medicines of the thirteenth century. Dandelion was much valued as a medicine in the times of Gerard and Parkinson, and is still extensively employed.

Bananas

Bananas. Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber,
a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.
Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout.
No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes.
But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit.
It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions,
making it a must to add to our daily diet.Edible Fruit Arrangement

I live in a very warm, moist country (Philippines) and the problem is weeds grow at an astounding rate. You can clear your garden then 5 days later its all back. The upside of that is it means that deforested areas should in theory grow back pretty quickly, given half a chance..
