Here's an idea for gardening in a small space: go vertical!
Patrick Blanc appears to be a pioneer in the field: ![]() Marché des Halles in Avignon Patrick has also done all of these: ![]() ![]() ![]() Patrick Blanc also did the exterior garden walls (or mur végétal) at The Museé du Quai Branly: ![]() ![]() This company, ELT, makes "Living Walls": ![]() ![]() Wikipedia basically says: Quote:

I know... Isn't this amazing? It kind of opens your eyes to this whole new world of growing potential. It turns the whole notion of needing a yard on its head. How cool would it be to have an entire wall of your house or office building transform into a green, succulent garden? I wonder how hard this is to do...

Wow, this was on Stumble Upon, and I had to register so I could tell you how totally amazing this is to me.
I wonder what it's like in the fall and winter... I wonder if the garden is removeable.... for off seasons. I bet it's cooling. I just LOVE it! Thank you SO much!

Removable panels would be great. Have them outdoor in the summer and in the winter bring them inside and put them on your inside walls.
