Garden Gnomes!

You know what I've never really understood? Garden gnomes. I mean, I sort of think they're tacky on the one hand, but really cool on the other. I don't have any myself, but they certainly are part of the gardening zeitgeist.
I'm thinking of starting a gardening gnome thread... Anyone have photos they could contribute?

I see that you do have a thread on garden gnomes. I really do think there are a lot of people out there that are very taken with them and that it may be a popular subject. I also believe although I am not sure of the genealogy that some how Fairies and Wood Sprites are associated with them. At least I see them mentioned a lot when I am reading about gnomes.

Gnomes can enhance your gardening experience if they are not overdone. Definitely for the whimsical.
