Hello from central Maryland - Garden Plants and Gardening Forum

Hi: Just joined yesterday. I'm a weekend gardener, since I work full-time. Moved to Maryland seven years ago. Love to do flower gardening. Would do more vegetables, but we're very short on areas that get full sun.

It's getting cold now, so not much but leaf raking and dead heading in the near future.

Hope to hear from other Maryland gardeners, and am ready to jump into the fray.

Cold weather just means you have to concentrate your efforts indoors. How about some cacti or easy grown vine or flower. With just a few fluoros you can really grow a variety of specimens.
