Smile Hello from Connecticut

hi everyone, i am new to the forums and i am looking forward to becoming more active in my backyard and making it into a outdoor living room so we can enjoy the summer.
it has been rainy here in connecticut but i figured a good way to get started on my garden was by coming online to look for ideas and get some great tips from you guys on the forums.
i am excited to get to know you all and learn a lot more about gardening...

Hi again!

thanks for the welcome! i planted some cucumbers last month, before i came here, and those are coming in great! Ive also done some nice fencing around my garden. I wish i started earlier in the year so i could have gotten some nice juicy tomatoes but theres always next year right? Ive got some carrots growing too though so its not a total loss!!

Im also doing some landscaping around my back yard too like i said. I put in a nice pergola for some gentle shade on my back yard dinner table. I have pictures if you guys want to see them but i dont know how to upload, can someone help? in the mean time, this is what I installed (under pergolas in products). It came pre-finished and weather proofed, too
