Hello from the San Fernando Valley, CA
Spring is very confused here with weather bouncing from Winter cold/wet to Summer hot and back again. I'm a spare time gardener and my favorite plants are perennials and bulbs that come back all on their own. The grape hyacinth and the true gereniums are massing in the back yard and the Amaryllis are coming up in front! Half my Crepe Myrtles have leafed out the the others are still dormant.

Welcome PattyPatricia44! I'm in LA too so I know what you mean about the weather. I've just gone ahead and started my spring planting in my vegetable garden. A little earlier than I did it last year but I guess there have been enough of those hot days to make me feel that it's got to be time for the season to begin.
