Hi, I am D V Prasad, residing in Hyderabad, India. I love organic farming with bio dynamic principles and I do practice in our family farm for the last 5 years. We grow all vegetables, pulses, fruits and other agro products required for my family and friends on the principles of CSA (Consumer Support Agriculture). I have experimented the growing of vegetables on the roof top using poly bags and organic manure with shade net. This gives us all our leaf vegetables, fruits in freshest form for our family need. If any one is interested in seeing the same, I could flash the photographs of the same. One request. Please do not laugh at the small size of the same. My family members (including grand son of 2 1/2 years old and one pet dog) will take care of the same. |

I would absolutely love to see how you grow vegetables on the rooftop. What a fantastic idea! Please do post photos.
To post the photos you can upload them to a free photo sharing site such as flickr.com and then link to your photos from your posts by including the address within image tags that look like this: [IMG]photo url goes here[/IMG]. Looking forward to hearing more about this process and seeing the results. Thanks! |

Daitha, Welcome to the forum. Please enlighten us to what vegetables you grow and what types of native plants you have. I am always interested in cultivating plants from other areas of the world. As Ispichkin said, any pictures would be great!
