spring
I've been laughing about this for a couple days now.
4 years ago I planted a couple dozen crocus. By now I should have quit a few but this year they were very sparce. As I was driving home my neighbor's yard caught my eye - full of crocus. MY crocus. Over the last 2 summers, the chipmunk has been transplanting my crocus into HER front yard! They look beautiful! Now if I can only get him to bring them back! |

That's so funny. You never know when you plant what exactly is going to come of that planting. You know what you'd like to have happen and what you think should happen, but it doesn't always correspond to what does!

The squirrels move them around, too. They planted a pink hyacinth in my backyard several years ago, and it comes up every spring. I have no idea where they got it, as no one in the immediate vicinity has anything like that.
