Private Message Spam - Garden Plants and Gardening Forum

Hi,

I've gotten reports that a user named Jeannette has been spamming people through the private message system. We've banned her and she shouldn't be able to do this anymore. If you get any private messages that you think are spam, please report them by forwarding the messages to me!

I received one today from her and it even indicated that she was banned under her username. Can banned members still be allowed to PM others or is this a glitch?

Yeah, I got one too. It seemed harmless enough, just "hi how are you" .... but with so little to say for a private msg and at 6 in the morning and with no actual posts it seemed a little sketch-ball, lol.

I think that she showed up as banned because she sent it before she was banned. Banned users can't send PMs (to my knowledge)

Oy vey! She's at it again. I've banned her for 6 months. Should I just delete her account?
