Anyone got any lady birds?

Have a serious infestation of them on every plant! the pesticide is not working but suceeding in killing my plants. Got them back to life with another forumula but they are not going away and i have not seen a ladybird since i was a kid here.

I have to vacum them off the plants now, sounds weird i know but only solustion to keeping them from eating the entire roses bushes and everyting else they see. they even on the sun flowers now! Really bugging me!

I'm confused... why would you want to get rid of them? I thought they were good for plants and a sort of natural pest control. They even sell them at our farmer's market because they feed on insects that do harm plants. Is it the shear number of them that are bothering you or have you noticed that they are actually hurting the plants in some way?

Lulu is right of course. You should be rejoicing that you've got lots of ladybirds, not killing them! They are not what is eating your rose bushes - have you looked for caterpillars? Ladybirds are the most efficient aphid eaters around. I ordered some through the post from Green Gardener (UK) a few years ago and am delighted by the great job they are now doing. Lacewings are also great, for the same reason.
