Could you say more about exactly what kind of problems you've been having? For example, are you planting outdoors or growing indoors? Which herbs have you been trying to grow? What's your watering routine been like?

Your basil plant needs to get sunlight at least 6-8 hours a day. That is the only unusual about growing a basil but it is difficult to grow even in your indoors.
