Plant Wildflowers Now for Spring!

AZCentral.com recommends:

Quote:
Wildflower seeds can be sowed anytime from mid-October through November.

Wildflowers and sweet peas do best in full sun and will bloom until the hot weather arrives.
Sounds like a good idea!

I've planted some California Poppies recently and it's been really fun seeing them come up. I've loved seeing these along roads and random places and this year I realized there's no reason why we can't have some of these at home. It reminds me of a story that I've been reading to my kids, Miss Rumphius about a woman who goes around sowing lupine seeds until her town becomes this beautiful lupine paradise and she gets the nickname, "the lupine lady."

I wish my yard looked like that. I would never leave.
