Spider plant Question

After putting my spider plant outdoors, it started sending out really thick spiderette shoots. The shoots are almost a centimeter in diameter and the entire span of the plant has reached 6-7ft. I was just wondering if this is normal?? P.S. This plant has made babies before, but it would only have 2-3 shoots at a time and they weren't this big)

wow - looks like your plant is really loving its new location outdoors. Maybe it didn't reproduce like this before because these typically tend to be indoor plants and probably get less sunlight.

The plant looks like it is really enjoying being out in your garden, do you know if it is possible to take cuttings from the shoots?
