Sorry, but I tried to post my question ("To prune or not to prune?") for a month and the system did not work, it was not posted no matter what I did, even my emails to the moderator did not get through apparently (there was no answer until recently). Eventually the problem was solved, but then there were 2 identical ones.
Just now I found out that I can edit my post. I tried to erase this one, but did not find out how yet. Would be grateful if you could just erase one of the posts.

Hello Blueroots.
As I said, I have no idea why, (ask the moderator, I have no idea why he/she does nothing about it) there are 2 posts with the same subject (thanks for asking, it's WAY more that the other 73 who read this post and the other 221- total 294 "nice" people), anyway the original post is some posts below with the specific question and even a link with pictures.

I'm sorry that you had so many problems, and how it frustrates us at times. I would be happy to try and answer your question about pruning, but it isn't complete. Hope you ask the question again with more information.
