Growing Acai Palms at Home.

I got some very pretty Acai Palms from Acai Farms. Can't wait to get some berries. Does anyone have any experience growing them? They are in my greenhouse and I have a solar water heating system. They seem to be doing well. But I could use some advice.

Has anyone else bought from this company?

Largest Grower of Acai Palm in the U.S. Grow your own Acai Berries for MAXIMUM health benefits!

That is their website.

Wow I have never heard of that palm before - Euterpe Oleracea - I have never heard of that company either. I used to belong to Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami when I lived there and I was pretty good at palm recognition and identification but there is after all 1100 + kinds of palms last I heard. That seems like a lot of money for that size palm was what first came to mind when I went to the site. There is an entity called the International Palm Society, here is their website,

International Palm Society

They have forums. Maybe if you don't find the answers you need here you could check that site out for some specialized info
