Feng Shui your home with flora
• Anything that draws water out of the home will pull financial strength right out of your home. Plants should be used in areas where water is being drawn out of your home, such as the bathroom, kitchen and laundry areas to lend balance to the space. • It is wonderful to have fresh flowers around your home to give off energy. A good place to have arrangements is in your living room or on the desk of your home office. Just remember to throw them away when they start to wilt! • Dried flowers are not good to have around your home, this is very inauspicious. Potpourri can be used as long as it is for fragrance purposes and not for display. A better idea to have around your home for fragrance and display is all natural diffusers; these can provide excellent aromatherapy benefits! • If you cannot live without dried flower arrangements, be sure that you dust them often and replace them with the changing of the seasons. • Do not place fresh flowers in your bedroom unless you are sick, this will bring too much yang energy into a space whose dedicated purpose if for rest. • If someone is sick in bed, the one color of fresh flowers you should not choose is red. This color implies that the person who is ill will not heal. • Fake flowers can be just as good as real flowers to give positive energy around your home, but real flowers help to promote the yang energy from the wood element. • Silk flowers are a great option if you do not have time or money for the upkeep of fresh flowers. They will stay alive and vivacious and will give great energy to your room. • If you want to activate the wealth chi, purchase live young plants with broad leaves for your home. • New plants for your home should be purchased at the start of a new month or year, as this represents a healthy new start for you and your family. • If you have an outdoor garden, be sure to mix perennials with annuals so that there will always be fresh fragrant flowers proliferating. Be sure to blend many vibrant colors together. The blooming of plants with beautiful green grass symbolizes the growing of good fortune. If you only have a balcony with no yard, try having mixed flowers in pots. If you would like to be more Feng Shui technical in your garden, please consult a professional on where to plant different colors based on how your home is situated on your property. I know one thing of feng shui:
Flowing water is an essential component to feng shui as it is one of the objects believed to have the powers of redirecting, reflecting, or shifting energy in a space. Water Fountains help lift the ch'i with the gentle sound of flowing water. In the five creative elements theory of feng shui, it is important to have a balance of all of the elements - a water fountain can help activate the water element. Just remember to keep the water fresh! Stagnant or moldy water in your fountain can adversely affect the feng shui in your home or office. Water from fountain should not be allowed to flow out.The OPEN BOTTOM concept fish tank assure that all splashing water will stay within tank''

There are many ways to achieve a beautiful décor with healthy green plants. They should be fresh and lush and remember to throw away any plants that start to fade; drooping flowers produce negative yin energy. Here are some great Feng Shui tips for greening your space.

I don’t know much about fung shui. I really would like to learn more about beautifying our home with the principles of fung shui. My questions is, Is it good to grow a fortune plant at home? What energy does it bring? or what particular plants can you recommend that will attract good health, wealth and prosperity? Thanks in advance.
