Container Magic
![]() ![]() Containers, be they of stone, wood, ceramic, concrete, metal or clay, can be so beautiful in themselves, or form a focal point when well planted. In the US I have seen lovely seasonal container plantings following the “thriller ( focal plant) filler ( usually something wispy or gassy) and spiller (trailing) formula. In the tropics, container plantings tend to be more year round, and feature one dramatic planting, sometimes with a ground cover plant.
