Happy April Blooms Day!
While the new garden is settling in nicely after 18 months, its been unusually hot and dry the past 6 weeks, so my blooms are limited to mainly bougainvilleas and plants that bloom in such weather Fragrant white frangipani Above: hot pink bougs next to sea grape plant Pillowy puffs of tree morning glory Variegated dwarf bougainvillea with orange bracts Can anyone help: is this cosmos? Or marigold? Planted it from seeds from a friend's plant. They had planted a mix of wildflower seeds bought in a Home Depot in Miami. More bougainvilleas climbing up nicely Tabebuia heterophylla Adeciduous tree endemic to Anguilla, St.Martin, St. Barthélemy, Barbuda, Antigua, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts,Montserrat, Guadeloupe, La Désirade, Marie Galante, Les Saintes, Dominica,Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Barbados, rest of West Indies,Tobago. Very drought and hurricane resistant Thanks again to Carol at May Dreams Garden for hosting Blooms Day Read more at Caribbean Garden... |
